Friday Night

Okay, so the other day (Friday) I attended a surprise birthday party for the one, the only, the lovely Lauren Davidow!!! Of course, she found out about it just before she got to where we were all hiding, but she was still surprised. :) It was a very exciting night- Caroline, Lauren J, and Lauren M performed a dance for us (Amy got it on tape!), I beat Ali at pool!!!!! (she "won" the first time, but I won the second one. And I didn't need to take the 8 ball out of the pocket when I hit it in twice during the game! lol ilu Ali!), Lauren J creamed me at fooze-ball (I couldn't figure out how to move the little guys infront of the goal), and we played Shout out Loud 2! Now THAT is a sweet game. Sure, we all wound up with 0 points at the end cuz we bet them all and then chose the wrong question, but it was still awesome! (LJ- people thought WE were going crazy? I think Alessia beat us with "BELLAGIO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" lol) Ali, that's gotta be one of the best presents ever. Next to the Mike-Ikes that were flying around in the air and nearly decapitated me. ;)
That same night, the unthinkable happened: Brendan was bankrupted at monopoly. By KRIS. Not only Brendan- oh no. Everyone else who was playing got bankrupted by him! Kris, I must say: you make a fellow Jolly Rancher Superhero proud. lol Too bad no one caught it on tape.... That night will go down in history.
Also, at practice that afternoon Plourd agreed to let Holly and me attach a rope to him and Rich, attach a bed on wheel to the rope, and then we'd sit on the bed and let them pull us. Hey, even if it slows them down a little bit, we'd still be going faster than we normally do! Now, the only catch is we actually have to get a bed into the school.... never fear, we shall think of something!
I've been listening to Spice World all weekend- it's not my fault! They were playing it at the party and it's a very addicting CD, so when I got home Sheila let me have her copy! (I don't have that many CDs- Sheila's already got all the good ones, and why spend $20 when I can just borrow the music from her? :) )
My birthday's coming soon! Yes it is! The big 1-6. Complete with car, learner's permit (I have to wait 2 days for that, tho, cuz my b-day's on Sunday and the DMV isn't open until Tuesday :( ), and a trip to El Sombraro! heeheehee ok. I just had to get that out of the way.

Snow days are happy days!
One hour until I see Matt. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!

Viva Forever

(P.S. Oh, and "Darth Vader" has been replaced by "Evil Padmé." Apparently, since I'm not a guy, Sar-bear won't let me be Vader. lol)
(P.P.S. anyone know where to buy a white, nonleather purse?)

Oooooo pretty stars......

Well, yesterday was certainly fun! After I updated my blogger I went to take one of my dogs (ya know Hershey?) outside. The ground was wet, a bunny ran in front of us, the dog ran after the bunny, Margaret slipped, and the next thing I knew my head was slammed back onto the ground. Stubborn me, I think, 'oh it's only a bruise' and go back inside. I was writing an e-mail to Hast-a-Bear when it happened: I started to see shimmers in my right eye. So when my mom came into the room I told her. She called the doctor and the doctor told her to take me to the emergency room. So that's where I was until 10:00 at night. And guess what. I didn't even have a concussion. Yey. Go me. I possibly had a mild one, but nothing I couldn't sleep off. Anyway, the next morning my head is throbbing terribly whenever I move it. So of course, as it's my luck, when I'm going down the stairs to the car, Sheila decides I'm not moving fast enough and honks the horn. Good thing I had all those books to weigh me down! Oh, and then we had that annoying AP Bio test that was ridiculously easy, but I'm still trying to figure out that stupid roan question. Now, is pure-breeding a verb or an adjective? I'm thinking verb, but you never know with those science people.....
BUT anyway. I got to make lots of fizzy stuff today in Chemistry, and Finding Neverland comes to all theaters tomorrow, so life is progressing. AND Harry Potter 3 came out today! Wahoo! It's party time! ;) Seriously, though, on ABC family this afternoon they were talking with Johnny Depp about F.N., and I must agree- he does NOT look like he's in his 40s! Ummm that's all the excitement for recent times.... the powder puff game's today but I'm not going... bad me, I know. Oh! And for all my study hall buddies, "you got told!" Ha! Signor Smith rocks! lol
Well, I'm gonna go surf for a while- gotta get up early tomorrow so I can go to school! Oh boy! jk I have to get tickets for Fiddler on the Roof. I luv NYC!

The Day of the Twink and the Inkle

Now, I realize it has been a rather long time since I've written. SOOOOO here are a few updates:
1: We won conference, beat Farmington, lost to Greenwich in the Quarter Finals.
2. Hope has separated herself from the continent of society, and claims it is my fault, as I am the diverging fault.
3. Josh became my adopted brother.
4. Leanne and I saw "National Treasure." While it was rather predictable, it was still well put together.
5. Auntie Winkle, my twin, has decided to abandon me for Krinkle. These are sad times, my friend.
6. I realized I have a very boring life.
The only really exciting event right now is that we are mating flies in biology. And that's more unnerving than anything, because I do not like crawly things AT ALL. I'm not scared of them, they just bug me. A lot. Which does present a problem whenever I watch The Mummy, but as I have been in more of a Princess Bride and Ocean's 11 mood lately, that has not been a problem. Speaking of Ocean's 11, December 10- Ocean's 12!!!!
But back to biology, that class certainly opens the gateway for interesting discussions. For example, Taylor and I came to the consensus (well, Taylor said it and I nodded my head) that Alexander the Great was a very cocky person. He'd have to be, to name all those cities after him! My favorite is still Alexandriaopolis: I guess he got bored with all those plain Alexandrias. Anyway, Taylor claims that if she conquered the world, she'd only name one city after her. The only problem that remains is: which city?
Oh, they're coming out with a movie for "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy"!!!!! Yey! How do I know this? It was one of the previews before National Treasure. See, Finding Neverland hadn't come to any nearby theaters yet. Oh no. It had to come YESTERDAY and TODAY. After I'd already blown my money at the ridiculously overpriced Lowe's. Oh, well. Wednesday's a half day- supposedly that's the official opening day. Party at the movies!
Let's see.... anything else.... well, Megan and I have become the next generation of Care Bears, spreading love and cheer everywhere! And we finally got cable/wireless for the computers, so now I can multitask! I can be online and on the phone at the same time! Now if they would just move the DVD player up here, and install a chocolate factory, everything will be perfect.... :)
Apparently I died September 11, 2004. Yeah. Both Kris and Hope have showed me the articles. I was pretty famous. Only the Germans didn't like me because I made sure the barracks had teatime every day. And I created the Bluebell dance troupe. Mmhmm. The Times even wrote an article about it. Fascinating, no?
Oh, and we should all be very proud of Kait- she's learning to speak Italian, thanks to her wonderful teacher (me). I tried to teach Hope "The Rocky Road to Dublin," but she had to go do her art project. So that ended that. And as here ends my post, let me leave you with some words of wisdom:

One, two, three, four, five,
Hunt the hare and turn her
Down the rocky road
And all the ways to Dublin,
Whack-fol-lol-de-ra.

Ciao!!!!!!!!

What happened on Kat's birthday (and around it)

Okay, in case you are crazy and are totally out of it, today is Kat's birthday!! Yey!!!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!! lol And you should be proud of me, cuz I actually gave her a card TODAY as opposed to... whatever 3 days from now is. Sunday? Yeah. Anyway, then I was all excited cuz we were gonna play Wethersfield for field hockey, so that just made the day even more perfect. BUT some assigner messed up and scheduled the refs for tomorrow, so we had to come home. Sob. By the way: Wethersfield has turf. i.e. fake grass that shoots up a huge cloud of small black spots whenever you hit it, and those same black spots got EVERYWHERE. I'm not kidding. Anyway, my youngest nephew said 'hi' to me in the hall today- hm. Didn't even think he knew who I was. But that's what's been happening a lot lately- people I barely know have been saying 'hi.' Not that I'm complaining- it's lots of fun!
Taylor and I voted today, too- can't say who for, though! It took forever. Sheila and her table tried to convince us to vote for Kerry: talk about peer pressure! lol And it appears Kat showed PT the picture on her binder, so word to PT: the fireball wasn't gonna kill you or anything. :) Umm... oh and my backpack took me on a wild hunt: someone removed it from the cafe when I was doing my civic duty (aka voting) and I had to run around for a while before I found it in Attendance. So I missed about half of English. Oooh and in chemistry we got to stick chemicals in fire and watch the flames turn different colors. They were very pretty: hot pink, yellow, vibrant red... it was awesome.
I am very anxious about this Saturday: the XC bonding is at my house, and that whole plan with the weed wacker is just a little unnerving. But there's time for worrying later. Right now I have homework to finish, and a "lesson" to review. (lol Kat. Can't go wrong with St. Clare!) Plus, there's this whole situation with my nephews' dad "losing his marbles." Oh, and to top it off, we got our warm ups two days ago and they rock! So those need to be taken for a trial workout.
Ciao!

Short and Sweet

Wow... ok... So, I spent 7 hours at the mall yesterday: makeover, shopping, eating- life was good. :) Still waiting for St. Clare- honestly, that guy takes FOREVER to show up places! Anyway, Friday I got a little JV experiance, which was awesome, but really different. It was basically deja vu from last year. For today, my cuz and I just hung out at the parade where Val gave me free candy (yey, Val!!!) and I bought peanuts for Peanut Day. I've got a long lab due for Bio, so I'd better get started- Royko already think I skip on test days, so I'd better prove otherwise. (Note the enthusiasm.) http://www.mediasharx.net/images/wallpaper/charmed/drewfuller1-800x600.jpg Omg, Kat- I luv him! lol I kno, I kno, the whole nephew part was a problem, but we've assigned that role, so Drew's free. ;) Anyway, better run. Don't want Royko to start unloading me with the Monty Python dead.

Ciao!
